Version 10 Release Notes

Version 10 (v10) was released on 25 March 2020.

The previous version was v9, released on 14 October 2018.

Additions and major edits were reviewed by the ICLAC members with the opportunity to vote on changes.  Voting ID numbers for v10 additions are: 180903, 181028, 190213, 190616, 190827, and 191110.

A.	Changes to Structure or Text

1.	Structure: a new table was added for “Withdrawn” cell lines.  This table became necessary to accommodate the removal of B2-17 from the Register, when it was recognized that B2-17 was legitimately derived from U-251 MG.
2.	Preamble: a sentence was added to describe the new “Withdrawn” table.
3.	Notes for all tables: where ICLAC has reviewed an entry, this is now clarified at the start of the notes and a reference number is provided to help find the relevant information.  Previously this information was provided inconsistently for some versions but not others.
4.	References: page numbers were made consistent (full page number is used for both first and last pages e.g., “2073-2081” instead of “2073-81”).

3.	B2-17	Removed from Table 1 and added to new “Withdrawn” table (ref: 191110).

6.	Culiseta inornata	Actual species name updated and possible contaminant suggested (the contaminant is unknown, but only one cell line from that species has been reported).

8.	E006AA	Added to Table 1 (ref: 191110); reference added (Koochekpour et al 2019).
