Cell Line Policy for Research Institutions

Cell Line Policy for Research Institutions

Research organizations have an important role to play in promoting and improving good cell culture practice.

This role includes providing cell culture training and developing policies to ensure that research using cell lines is reliable and reproducible.

A model policy has been developed for authentication of cell lines and tissue samples that can be used as a starting point for policy development.

This model policy was written by Rebecca Schweppe and Christopher Korch, University of Colorado Denver – Anschutz Medical Campus.
